French Courses in France

(students and adults from 16 and older)

Our French language schools located in Paris and Nice:

  • offer both general and intensive French courses to students of all levels.
  • allow you to complement your general French course by preparing for a French proficiency exam or completing a professional internship.
  • offer College Credit for 4+ week language courses.

No minimum GPA required to apply!

Students looking to spend time at the beach during their French study abroad course should consider our language school in Nice which is just minutes from the sea on foot.

If you are instead interested in history, politics or the arts, our French language school in Paris is the place for you. Located in the 10th arrondissement, it is within easy reach of all the famous sights and museums of Paris.

Here is a sneak peak of a typical day at our EF Paris school:

7:00 a.m.: Bonjour! Wake up in Paris.
7:30 a.m.: Enjoy a traditional French breakfast with your host family: croissant and coffee.
8:15 a.m.: Take the metro or walk to the school.
9:00 a.m.: French lessons
10:00 a.m.: Conversation Lab
12:30 p.m.: Grab a baguette sandwich at a local bakery
1:30 p.m.: French lessons and special interest class (French cuisine)
3:00 p.m.: Boat cruise on the Seine River: see Paris from the water!
6:00 p.m.: Return to host family for traditional French dinner.
8:00 p.m.: Disco Party on the Champs Elysées


Volunteer programs and internships in France

(students and adults age 18 and older)

Internships and volunteer opportunities with local companies and not-for-profit organizations are available to students studying on an 8+ week French study abroad program (no minimum duration required for volunteer programs). Students can choose among a number of companies and institutions to work with and an EF coordinator at the school will help with the placement.
